How We Teach Primavera P6
Ten Six’s Primavera P6 training courses are thorough and succinct; structured to maximize learning by adopting an approach of explanation, demonstration and practice teaching. Whether you’re a visual, auditory or tactile learner, each topic is presented using techniques that are synchronous with your particular learning style.
During The Course
The instructor will explain the context of the lesson, followed by a demonstration of the tool. Each topic is then reinforced with hands-on exercises to develop your skills and experience. You will be challenged to solve problems using your own initiative. These are important skills to develop in any learning situation.
You will learn the navigation of Primavera P6 and then build a project from the ground up. You will understand how to analyze the project, its critical path and resources, and how to update the project’s status as it begins to progress. In short, you will leave the classroom with everything you need to know to manage a project from beginning to end.
After The Class
With any practical subject, the real learning begins once the class is over. Ten Six training courses prepare you for the likely situations you will meet upon getting back to your desk. Primavera P6 EPPM Rel 8.x Fundamentals – A 3-day course that gets you started fast. Through a series of lectures, interactive sessions and over 100 hands-on exercises, participants will gain the knowledge and experience they need to use Primavera P6 EPPM as an effective project management tool.
Primavera P6 Professional Rel 8.x Fundamentals – A 3-day course that covers all the fundamentals of using Primavera P6 Professional Rel 8.x. Through a series of lectures, interactive sessions and hands-on exercises, participants will gain the knowledge and experience they need to use Primavera P6 Professional as an effective project management tool.
What’s New in Primavera P6 R8.2 Workshop – A 4 hour on-site or online training workshop that introduces this latest version of Primavera P6 and focuses on the new features and functions available in the system. You will learn how to use the new features and have an opportunity to discuss topics and direct questions to the presenter.
Primavera P6 R8.x BI Publisher Fundamentals – for Oracle 11g – A 3-day course that covers the fundamentals of designing and creating reports using the Primavera P6 Business Intelligence Publisher for Oracle 11g. This interactive course complete with hands-on class with exercises will enable students to design, create and publish BI Publisher reports from scratch.
